Sorry, we haven't posted anything for a long time. We have been busy making things at home though. I am very interested in art n craft making at the moment. Mummy took Ollie and I to an art shop one day and we nearly bought out the entire shop!! No, not really, but we did get a lot of interesting stuff to make crafty things with. Mummy bought me a huge craft box to put all my craft materials in.

Ollie and I made a 'Pet rock' each. I call my rock, Mr Rock. Mummy sewed a bed and a blanket for our pet rocks.

I made lots of masks, one for everyone in our family! I have pom-poms on mine, I gave Ollie's mask coloured paddle pop sticks (because he loves his paddle pop ice-creams).

And me helping with the washing up one day.

I even made Sunflowers! With the help of Daddy! He had to nail all the paddle pop sticks I decorated to the sticks.
I have also been making bracelets out of beads, pom pom aliens, playing with playdough and doing lots of cutting a pasting things too.
And by the way, I do have other clothes a part from my PJs!! But I do wear my PJs all day some days of the week! Just like Mummy does!! We don't get out much!! :)

Last Friday, Daddy took me to work with him. We took the train into the city. Daddy set up some paints and some paper for me to paint. Here I am painting with Omi and Hanah. Their Daddy is also an artist and has a studio space here too. Daddy took me out to lunch too. I had lots and lots of fun.

One cold weekend, Daddy took Ollie and I to Bunnings and he bought us both a torch each! We love torches! I have a blue one and Ollie has a green one. Ollie and I love turning on our torches inside our tent. Mummy puts blankets over the top of it and over the opening to make it dark so we can shine our torches inside!

Mummy & Daddy got me a quarry set for Christmas. It has boulders that I can pick up with the crane, and trucks to load them onto and drive around on the roads!

It has a conveyor belt to take the boulders up to the top and when I press the button, the boulders fall out and down into the trucks down below!

Today, we had a Christmas Party with some of our friends. We had a really nice play at the very cool adventure playground. I loved the sandpit because it had a very cool 'sand shovelling machine' - just like Scoop in Bob the Builder! (Sorry there are no photos to show you because Mummy was preoccupied with Ollie and Isobel!)

We played some cricket, collected leaves and sticks to make into animals, and oh, of course Santa came to visit us! I was very excited!
He came walking out of the bushes and he was carrying a sack full of presents!

These are my friends: (left to right) Veronika, Claudia, Alexander, and Oliver up the back with me. Veronika and Alexander are twins and their eldest sister Claudia was my bestfriend for the day - we played together, held hands lots and gave each other cuddles!

Santa asked us our names and asked if had been good - and of course I said YES!

I got a cool golf cady set but somehow my friend Oliver (not my brother) and I swaped presents - he wanted the Golf set and I wanted his fishing rod!!!

I enjoyed one of my favourite foods from the Convent Bakery - PIZZA!! Daddy couldn't resist the organic beer from Healsville! Mummy & Ollie couldn't resist the bagettes!!

There was lots happening at the Convent today. They had a produce market on and a mexican man playing some cool music. I joined in and played some of the percussion instruments and even had a go at the bongos.

Today, Mummy & I went with Daddy to support him and some other artists from BLENDER studios in a charity art competition held at Federation Square run by Art for Food. Groups of artists get together to raise money for the homeless. The aim of the competition was to combine 3 canvases, each artist is then allocated either the head, torso or legs and are given 1 hour to complete an artwork. At the end the Head, torso and legs are joined to make the: Exquisite Corpse.

Ever since baby Claudia came to visit I have discovered my maternal side. I am now calling my 'Lambie' my 'Baby'. I have blanket for him, put him to bed and I even give him milk from a bottle just like Ollie does. I even borrow one of Mummy's handbags and go shopping for baby food. I take my car, my Baby and my handbag with me go to "the Shops". I am looking forward to my next baby coming in November!!! I like to rub Mummy's tummy and give the Baby kisses. I say to Mummy, "like a big ball inside Mummy's tummy, me need to bounce it like a ball! Baby coming out soon, me need to bounce it, up and down, like a ball!"

To my Mummy's surprise I was soooo taken by baby Claudia when they came to visit the other day. I wanted to hold her on my lap and I didn't want to give her back to her Mum. I kept saying 'so cute'!
I was upset when they went home - Mummy told me that I will get to hold Mummy's new baby soon - as much as I want. Later, I even tried to put Ollie on my lap - but it wasn't the same as a tiny newborn! - Ollie is nearly heavier than me and he doesn't keep still!

My Por Por & Goong Goong bought me this fantastic yellow 4WD! It's like a real car! It has a foot pedal for exceleration and a forward and reverse button! It also has indicators and a horn. It has a police siren on the back too! I LOVE IT!! I need more space to drive this 4WD though - I will have to ask someone to take me to a parking lot to do some doughies and really take it for a spin!
As you can see I HAVE to put the boat at the back of my new car - Ollie gets a good ride too!

Today I went to Playhouse and one of the carers asked how my holidays were and I told her; "Daddy at home" (Mummy had to explain to the carer that Daddy had been on holidays and spent everyday day with me) Then I told my carer; "Daddy's name is Mikawl".
And tonight when I was having a chat with Daddy at bedtime, (Daddy & I have a private chat after storytime, I tell Mummy to go out of my room and ask Daddy to say in bed with me) Daddy asked me what Mummy's name was and I said; "Eewan"!

So what's my name I say? " MOWEE"

Daddy took me to see Ice Age 3 : Dawn of the Dinosaurs. I own Ice Age and I like to watch it all the time at home. My Por Por & Goong Goong have Ice Age 2 that I sometimes like to watch when I go and visit. This was my first experience at the cinemas. I managed to stay inside the cinemas the whole time. I didn't run around like the other kids did. I got really excited when the sound got loud! I liked to look behind me at the other people in the cinemas, I played with the arm chairs - I could move them up and down, I looked under the seats and best of all I ate lots of popcorn and drank lemonade! What a treat!!!

I am developing my imagination and this week I used the laundry basket and turned it into a boat. I asked Mummy to find a piece of string to tie it on the back of my ride-on car. Just like how Daddy attaches his boat onto the back of the 4WD. I wanted to take Ollie for a ride in the boat. I used the toliet paper holder and turned it into the motor for the boat. I found one of my Daddy's clips and attached it to the end of the toilet paper holder to make it like the propeller of the motor. I asked Mummy for something to turn the boat into a 'row boat'. She gave me 2 wooden spoons which I could use to row the boat with. I packed the boat with fishing gear - just like how Daddy does. I even asked Mummy for some squid for bait and looked in the freezer for some - Mummy says that I can only use the squid bait when I go 'real' fishing with Daddy. So I had to just make do with my squidges!

On Sunday, Daddy & I took the boat out to Corio Bay. The weather was nice. Mummy packed a nice lunch for us to take with us to have on the boat.
Daddy didn't catch anything but I caught a baby Whiting. I reeled it in myself and I even took it off the hook and had a lovely time examining the little fishie before I set it free to grow up to be a bigger fish!

My Daddy's exhibition will be featured in the Sunday Arts, ABC.
at 5pm or ABC2 at 7:30pm tonight!

I went to Metro Gallery to see all of my Daddy's paintings yesterday. Mummy explained that the red dots next to the paintings meant that someone had bought a painting and will take it home to put on there wall. I kept telling people who came into the gallery and were looking at other artist's works to "no see these ones, see my Daddy's paintings" and dragged them up the front of the gallery!
I even did a little 'performance art' for the public too - rolling on the floor and running up and down the gallery space!

Eltham Playhouse.

Today I had my first day at the Eltham Playhouse (occassional childcare). It is just up the end of my street. Mummy stayed with me for the day so I didn't feel too abandoned on my first day.

I played with the trains when I arrived. Mummy told me before hand that there were trains for me to play with so I was very excited when I saw them! They had bridges and boom gates that I just loved! 'ding, ding, ding, ding, ding...' I said.

When I saw the paints I had to have a go! I did 5 paintings!

Then I had morning tea with the rest of the kids. We bring a piece of fruit each to share, the carer's cut it all up for us and while we eat, Wendie, the teacher sings us some songs and reads us some stories.

Then we all go outside to play!

I had lots of fun with the other kids as we pushed cars down the tunnel and then going down it ourselves!

Then we came back inside for lunch and more story telling.

The Opp Shop!

Every time we go for walks, we pass old church converted into an Opp Shop. And every time we pass it, Mummy always wants to check it out but it has big steps that lead up to it and the pram wouldn't fit in there as it is small. But last week, Mummy took the chance and left the pram outside while we 'attempted' to go in to have a 'look-see'. Well, I told Mummy I didn't want to go inside, I was petrified of the scary looking maniquin out the front. Mummy carried me inside past the maniquin but I was even more scared inside! It was a little dark and messy! I screamed and threw myself on the floor; "Me don't yike house!!! Me don't yike house!!! Me go back outside, sit in pram!!"
So Mummy didn't get a chance have a proper look inside the opp shop.

"Good boy Morri, wow you did it aren't you clever. Yes you can flush it down the toilet, just make sure you don't spill it everywhere! Ah, Morri, wait, let Mummy help you."
"Me fush da toiyet Mum?"
"Ok, now you can flush the toilet."
"Me have yollie-pop Mum? And a choc'ate egg?"
"Ok you can have a lollie and a chocolate egg because you did your poo in the potty! (Eating our way through the remains of Easter!)

In the last couple of weeks I have been using the potty to do my wee's and poo's. I find I remember to use the Potty when Mummy or Daddy don't make too much of a fuss of it. Mummy puts the potty out where I can see it and just 'reminds' me that it's there if I need to use it. And I say 'Alright Mum'. I will do my wee's and poo's in it when I need to. I don't even need to tell Mummy I am about to do a wee or a poo I just go and do it in the potty! And then I come running with the Potty in my hands yelling; "Mummy ook, see me did a poo in da pot'ee!" It helps when I don't have any nappy or pants as I don't have to struggle to take anything off. Mummy tried just putting my pants on without the nappy once but I forgot and I accidently wet my pants- plus I was having my lunch - one too many things to think about.

I love fast cars, and I really love my Kau Fu's old remote control cars he played with when his was a young boy! I always want to play with them when I go to my Por Por & Goong Goong's place. The only thing with these remote control cars is the batteries don't last very long and that fustrates me! So Mummy & Daddy bought me a remote control car of my own. I now have a very fast Mustang!!! And I love it!!! It even does burn outs!!!

Mummy & Daddy have decided to not sell our home now. Although our home is small and there will be 5 in our family by November, we love it and we love our town. Mummy & Daddy says that Bigger isn't always Better... and that we are very lucky to have a lovely home. (that we worked so very hard on!!) Mummy says that there are people in this world who are not so fortunate as us and live in 'shoe boxes' and have more than 5 people in their families. So if these people can do it I guess we can too??!!!

I saw Mummy squeezing limes while she was cooking one day so I wanted to help too! I even asked if I could squeeze other fruits too like apples! Mummy says apples can't be squeezed so I asked her to cut some apples so I could make a drink out of them. I put them in a glass and added my drink to it and stired it with a wooden spoon.

I have amazed my parents today!

One of the many jobs I helped Daddy with is paint the picket fence. Daddy says I am a fantastic helper! I just love following Daddy around all day helping with all sorts of jobs around the house!
I helped Daddy do some weeding the front yard, washed down the outside of the house with a special pressure hose, put rubbish in the skip (which is in our drive way at the moment), and fixed a door.

We are selling our house because our family is getting too big for it. I am helping Mummy & Daddy pack some of our things in boxes and helping with all the unfinished jobs around the house and LOTS of Spring cleaning before we put our house on the market.

Finally, I have a new bed. On Saturday we went shopping and I helped choose my new matress. I tested lots of matresses. I jumped on them - making sure they could withstand my jumping. I lay down on them - making sure they were comfortable to sleep on, not too hard and not too soft! And finally I made sure Mummy & Daddy were happy with the price!!! The bed I have turns into a bunk bed later on - you just need to add the other bed on top! This bed was actually my Kau Foo's bed when he was a little boy! My Por Por & Goong Goong have kept it in great condition after all these years!

I have a Thomas the Tank Engine doona and pillow that my Granny & Grandad gave me for my birthday. When you turn out the light, Thomas glows in the dark!!

In my room, I have a shelf full of books that I love to look at and read . Every night before bed I choose a book each for my Mummy and Daddy to read to me. My top 5 books at the moment are:

1). Where The Forest Meets the Sea - it has great picture collages . Its about a little boy and his Father going out on the boat to a very special place that has been there for millions of years.

2). Where the Wild Things Are. It too has a boat in the story. It is about a boy who imagines his room turns into a Forest and he sails out to where the Wild Things Are - I am a bit 'Max' - 'making mischief...''

3). Good Night Little Piggy. This book has a pig's face on the cover and it's nose lights up like a lamp. I like to turn it on before starting the story as it is about a little piggy who is all muddy and his 'Goong Goong' (In the picture it has a picture of man pig who has glasses and I call him Goong Goong - like my Goong Goong) calls him in to have a bath. And then he gets ready for bed and we say good night to piggy and we turn out the light! (That's my cue to go to bed too!)

4). Green Eggs And Ham. A famous Dr. Seuss Book.

5). Chester the Crab. This book has eyes that you can make move when you put your fingers inside the back of the book. Chester and Speckle play a game of Eye Spy in this story.

Mummy, Daddy, Ollie, Goong Goong , Por Por & I went to Rye for a holiday. We stayed at a nice cottage just 500 metres from the beach!

This is the house that we stayed in. Its called Blue Moon Cottages St. Ives. It had play equipment in the backyard and a sandpit. I had a spa bath with Daddy one night! That was lots of fun!

My Por Por bought me an ice cream while we were out having lunch in Rye. I couldn't decide on what flavour I wanted as I kept pointing to all the different flavours so my Por Por suggested I have the ice cream with lots of colours and flavours in it! What a brilliant idea!!

One evening we went to the fair . I went on lots of rides.

Daddy, Mummy & I went out on the boat one morning.

Whenever I am out on the boat I have this 'look' when I am driving the boat - pure bliss and so relaxed I almost look like I am about to go off to sleep!!

We caught a baby Sting Ray. I like to use the net catch the fish in, while Daddy reels in the fish. That's great team work for you!! I have seen the fishing pros do this so many times on my fishing DVD's I know exactly what to do!!

What better way to end a trip to the beach by having fish and chips for lunch and watermelon!! My Daddy cooked the fish we caught. He cooked it in his special beer batter recipe,it was yummy! I love to eat fish too, not just catch them!

Having a peach & grapes after a swim! I look a bit cold!! But I wasn't complaining! Mummy & Daddy even jumped in the water too - they took a long time to get the courage to get wet! As for me, as soon as I saw the beach I couldn't wait to get in the water! The water was actually alot warmer once you were in! Getting out is the cold part!

I was very interested in the lifesaving boat parked on the shore - was hoping the lifeguards would give me a ride!

Like any 2 year old - I like to throw things and what better oportunity to practice my throwing skills while at the beach - feed the hungry seagulls!

Getting my hair cut!

It's been long over due, and I needed to do something with my hair. So I made an appointment with Mummy - my hairdresser, this morning while she had some free time.
It started off ok, but me being me, I couldn't keep still long enough, and by the end of the hair cut, I had hair all over my face which I kept rubbing into my eyes and face because I was crying so much and fidgeting about. I was a mess. Daddy had to come and rescue me and give me shower to wash all the hair off me!

I got a Tim Tam for surviving the hair cut!

Mummy, Daddy, Ollie & I spent a week down at Cowes, Philip Island with Grandad, Granny, Aunty Amanda, Uncle Andy & Annie. Uncle Simon came down for a night.
It was a bit too cold and windy the first few days to go to the beach, so we made do with having baths!

We had Christmas Dinner at my Por Por & Goong Goong's place. I spoke with my Ah Yee , Yee Jong on the phone to wish them a happy Christmas. They are in France for Christmas. They had just been to the market to get lots of cheeses, pastries and lovely French food for their Christmas banquet!
I even got to see and talk with my Kau Foo & Kau Mo on Skype . They are in South China at the moment.I got this very very cool whipper snipper from my Great Grandad. You pull the choke and it sounds just like my Daddy's real one!

My Uncle Simon got me an engineers tool kit for Christmas. It has a tape measure, a hammer, plyers, a extendable ruler, a phillips screwdriver, a flathead screwdriver, a pair of gloves, a square, a hand saw (which I am not allowed to play with at moment) and a helmet.

Measuring my room so Daddy can help me build a shelf for all my books and toys to go on.

Some other things I got for Christmas were Bob the Builder take along box set with 3 of my favourite characters; Scoop, Lofty & Roley, & an Iggle Piggle doll from In the Night Garden - from Por Por & Goong Goong, a musical reindeer and dominos from Nanna, fishing lures & a space invaders t-shirt from Aunty Amanda, Uncle Andy & Annie, Books, clothes, playdough, bubbles & a doona cover from Grandad & Granny.

I got the latest series of my favourite DVD; 'Starlo & Bushy's Squidgy Secrets Part 4: From Start to Fish!'
I got lots of other little presents like this torch & my very own pair of goggles (now I don't need to steal Mummy & Daddy's ones everytime we go swimming!)

Daddy says there is one more present that is still yet to arrive from Santa... it is still getting made by the elves... I wonder what it could be?!!

One of my Daddy's students lives on a Cherry Farm. Yesterday we took a drive up to Wandin and picked a big bucket full of cherries. I got to carry the bucket down the hill!

Mummy & Daddy showed me how to pick the cherries off the trees, but I found an even quicker way to pick cherries - off the ground!! After a while I gave up picking them because I couldn't understand why Mummy & Daddy kepted throwing the ones I picked from the ground out from the bucket! I discovered a new game to play instead, run away from Mummy & Daddy and hide behind the trees and then roll around in the dirt!

I thought should do the weeding for the owners too!

On Thursdays Daddy goes to his studio to paint for the day. (His studio is temporarily at my Goong Goong & Por Por's place) So Mummy, Ollie & I usually spend the day there too!
Daddy has a break at lunch time so we sometimes have a 5 minute lie down in the hammock under the porch.

Last weekend I went to the airport to say goodbye to my Ah Yee & Yee Jong. They are going to Singapore, Malaysia, London, Paris, Italy, Africa & Egypt for 3 months! Thats alot of countries!
My Por Por & Goong Goong also went on a holiday to Malaysia on the weekend too! My Daddy took them to the airport, I cried becuase they were leaving me behind and wasn't taking me with them. They will be back just in time for Christmas though. So in the meantime I get to play at their house whenever I like! - So I spent yesterday making a huge mess of their place!
My Kau Fu & Kau Moe are also overseas - they will be away for a long time!
Hopefully I will get to go on the plane again soon... just have to help Mummy & Daddy save up for our next holiday!!

Mummy, Ollie & I went to visit Daddy at work yesterday. He showed us the 'boardwalk' that he, another teacher and his VCAL students built at their school.
My Daddy teaches the VCE students at Mount Evelyn Christian School. (MECS)
Aren't they clever!

It has a pond which still needs a bit of water - it will be the new home for the local frogs!

Wombat Bend Park

Yesterday, Mummy, Ollie & I checked out a new park in Lower Templestowe. Its called Wombat Bend Park in Finns Reserve. It is totally enclosed so toddlers & kids can't escape - which makes it a very safe for them to roam around without the parents worrying about them disapearing!
It has very cool play equipment and it has a sandpit with a water pump and a maze too! There even a BBQ area too. Not to mention the toilets are just outside the park fence. The design and layout has been thought out brilliantly.

I asked Mummy to sit on the other side with me and told her to rock it 'fast'!

Ollie just enjoyed sleeping in the fresh air!

I liked the flying fox the best! I wanted to go 'fast'!

In the maze there were these on the walls. If you put your hand on it, it talks back to you!
My Mummy's friend Kara told her about this park. Thanks Kara! What a great park. I will have to bring all my family and friends here again soon!!

Fishing adventures continue...

On Sunday, I took a trip down to Williamstown. I went with Mummy, Daddy, Ollie, my Ah Yee, Por Por & Goong Goong.

We tried fishing at Altona Pier first. We had no luck and it was quite windy. So we didn't stay very long.

My Por Por wrapped herself in her shawl because it was so windy. Ollie was the most protected from the wind by the rain cover on his pram. He was snug as a bug in a rug!

We then went into Williamstown to have some lunch. We went to a seafood restaurant called 'Hobsons', the owner was a very friendly German man who told us lots of stories about himself. He had hung photos of him catching big sharks and scuba-diving for Abalone on the walls. He told us that he rode (on his bike) from Germany to Australia in a year! I had fish & chips, apple juice, ice-cream with chocolate topping and a baby-chino for lunch!

There was alot happening at Williamstown that day, they had a school fete with lots of rides, and a craft market by the shore. But all I wanted to do was go fishing. So off we went again after lunch to another fishing spot to do more fishing!

We saw a tug boat go past...

...and then a huge container ship following it...

...and another tug boat behind! They were heading towards the Westgate bridge on there way to the docklands! We were guessing the ship had come from China as it had 'China' written on the containers. My Goong Goong said thats where all our soya sauce comes from!! What was even funnier was that at the back of the ship a door on a container ship was wide open and my Goong Goong said that whoevers belongings were in that container would be very upset to find out that there things had fallen out at sea!

On Saturday Morning, Mummy, Daddy, Ollie & I took a walk to Eltham Leisure Centre and went for a swim. Ollie didn't have a swim because he is still too little so Mummy & Ollie were spectators instead.
Daddy helped me practice my swimming in the lap pool first. (I don't go for swimming lessons now becuase I said 'no' everytime I went and I even go upset one day. Mummy & Daddy couldn't understand that I didn't like going for swimming lessons anymore because I used to get so excited . They soon realised that I enjoyed having Daddy in the pool with me. Ever since I moved up a class at swim school and Daddy no longer could come in the pool with me I didn't enjoy swimming as much. So now Daddy will take me on my own and sometimes my Granny will take me when I spend the day with her).

After our swimming practice, Daddy & I went on the waterslide. I love slides especially if they are very fast ones and I was very excited about this waterslide! We went down 3 times - the third time I swallowed too much water and I threw up my breakfast into the pool and all over myself - that was a bit embarrassing!

Then I finished off with a play in the kiddies pool.

I loved to run through the water!

Eltham Fun Run.

Daddy & I did the Eltham Fun Run on Sunday! We have been training for weeks for the event!
Mummy & Ollie missed us crossing the finishing line (Mummy couldn't find a car park) so she didn't get a photo of us crossing the finishing line. Daddy & I were the 1st pram runners to cross the finishing line! - We were very proud of oursleves! I waved at everyone as I crossed the finishing line!

This is my very own 'proper' fishing rod that Daddy & Mummy bought me a couple of weeks ago for when I go 'proper' fishing!

Daddy & Uncle Simon took me fishing in the boat! - Boy was I the happiest 2 year old on the planet that day! Daddy & Uncle Simon were so impressed that I was so 'abnormally' well behaved - there was no 2 year old on the boat!

Daddy let me have a go at steering the boat - that was very fun! I couldn't wait to tell Mummy when I got home!
